http://bayareahouston.blogspot.com/2008/09/bush-sabotaging-mccain-campaign-again.htmlBush just can't get over his disdain for Senator McCain dating back to the 2000 primary and he continues to sabotage his campaign.
The Time Table.
First McCain states over and over that a time table for withdrawal from Iraq will not be tolerated. It will not be on the table under a Palin....uh.....McCain administration. It is bad policy and he will not promote it. And then what does Bush announce? A time table for withdrawal from Iraq.
The Economy
Then just last week McCain claims the economy is fundamentally strong. And a week later, Bush is on TV addressing the American people of a $700 Billion (that is not Million) bailout of the financial market with gloom and doom predictions and hints of a looming depression.
The Meeting
And then in a final slap in McCain's face, McCain drops everything he is doing, rushes to Washington to lead the charge for the bailout of the Wall Street free market. He calls for a delay in the first Presidential debate, rushes to meet with Katie Couric, then meets with conservative Republicans on his own version of the plan. And Bush instead endorses a different plan leaving McCain speechless for 40 minutes at the meeting McCain rushed back specifically for.
