Orrin Hatch on the senate floor right now being ridiculous.
and almost hopping up and down ala Ted Stevens. Hatch looks like he just stepped out of a victorian painting of a wealthy family and he's the heir thats never done an honest days work in his life.

8. in a nut shell he thinks the resolution will get more troops killed and that we will
look weak. Really it's his "gesticulations" along with his chickenhawky lack of service that makes Orrin Hatch's military stragteegery as about as legitimate as me giving a symposium on rocket science.

He doesn't let facts get in the way. Linked 9/11 to Iraq several times. Blames Democrats for undermining Patreus. Claims children in Iraq are now able to be educated and have health care unlike under Saddam.

'Show us how you will prevent the terrorists from coming here'.

'We've got moderate Arabs in that part of the world pulling for us because they know they are next'

This guy is one of the worst...

9. What children in Iraq? Those of the millions who have fled? Or perhaps he means...
the countless # of girls who've been kidnapped on their way to school in Taliban-esque southern Iraq.

Yeah. Too bad we don't have a congress that will guarantee health care to our kids,
and I don't think americans voted for a bloody costly war in order to get Iraqi children educated.

15. In a very real sense
this is more important than Hitler.'

'We should not decide this thing on polls that can be manipulated to say whatever you want them to say.'

'We are not here to respond to polls, we are here to do whatever is in the best interest of the country'

'Isreal itself will be threatend like never before. If we leave there will be a holocaust'

7. Gee, Mr. Hatch
You were running an important committee in the Senate for five years during the time these abuses were taking place. How many hearings did you convene? None? Well, that's about as much credence, then, that I would give to your self-righteous ranting now -- none.
