The polls are bullshit! Heres why

They only call voters on land lines. Many of the younger voters (who are by and large progressive and have been registering to vote in droves)only use cell phones. Many of us old Hippies have land lines but don't answer them. I have a land line and three cell phones. I figure that if you don't have one of my cell #s I probably don't want to hear from you so I never answer it. I'm not even sure why I have it except to give out that # to people I don't want to talk to like businesses who ask for a #. So, even if a pollster wanted to talk to me, they wouldn't be able to.

Also, many pollsters poll 50% X 50% Pukes and Dems. This does not factor in the massive swing in Dem registrations as opposed to the shrinking puke ones.

so if the cell/landline issue is a big factor then McCain is extra F'ed.

2. It was telephone polls that made pollsters a laughingstock in 1948

They predicted a big win for Dewey because the majority of folks they called were for him. But they forgot the HUGE number of folks who, at the time, didn't have phones. They were the ones who voted for Truman.

It's just that fewer cell phones are answered. I only have a landline and I'm not even hippie aged. No habla cell phones.
