In other words, does international law need to be revised?

Although the response of the Iranian government to a work of fiction written by Salman Rushdie might have been an excessive response, many Muslims find that novel to be deeply offensive.

There might be many Muslims who do not wish to live in a neighborhood if the closest public library contains a copy of Rushdie's book. Now, the problem is that if somebody invents a new language like Esperanto and somebody else translates Rushdie's book into that new language, then there's no way to know whether or not a copy of Rushdie's book is in the closest public library.

Is it reasonable to expect Muslims to establish international organizations whose members learn all new languages that anybody invents?

Now it might be too late to do anything about Esperanto. Laws mandating punishment for people who speak Esperanto might be considered unjust. However, isn't it possible that a new, improved Esperanto would allow immigrants into the USA to refrain from learning English and to therefore begin the literal colonization or colonializing of the USA and the rest of the world?

3. I'm trying to make sense of your post, but on a side note, I know of a
group of people from an inner city area here in N. Texas that grew up together in a neighborhood and who devised their own english-based language that when vocalized sounds like non-sense to the uninitiated. But for those who speak it, they can hold an entire conversation. I've even learned some of it myself.

4. How does the language work?
Is it like Pig Latin, which mixes up English syllables, or is it kind of a re-purposed English vocabulary? (E.g., Boontling).

What's it called? Got links? Examples?

Can't help but think of the granny-lady in the movie Airplane: "Excuse me -- I speak Jive."

Enquiring wordophiles want to know!

6. I would describe it further as a derivative of pig-latin, but more complex.
There is also a sort of cadence, or rythm, when speaking at length. I don't have audio or links. As I said, they said they developed it amongst themselves and their friends as a way to speak to each other without others knowing what they are saying. They grew up in a rough and poor area of town and say it is for secrecy and survival.

I couldn't even begin to give an example adaquate to describe it other than it is a complex form of pig-latin which has a completely different word structure and rythm and is anchored by several specific consonants and vowels, especially the letters N and E and U, but not the pig-latin "ix-nay" (the "-ay" part). It is really impossible to explain beyond that.

5. Huh!
It's a free country. Muslims can live anywhere they wish. If they don't like the public library, they don't have to go. If they get offended by others actions, that's sorta their own problem. Isn't it?
