If they reject your Absentee Ballot based on signature differences,
why don't they notify you? Lets say that someone decides to get overly strict, and if someone signs C. Armistead instead of Charlie Armistead the way it reads on the driver's license, or if they reject Betty Boop, instead of Elizabeth Boop, why aren't they required to notify the voters that they did this?

Because, if they're calling the election before they count all the provisional ballots, it would be so easy to set aside all the Democratic votes that have these subtle differences in the hopes that they never have to count them at all.

1. I have to watch that.. my i.d. is signed in a way that I thought I would
do once I first became married.. I've since changed it 3yrs in.. so I have to look at my I.D. and remember how I signed when first married..

2. My mother called and informed me that she has requested an
absentee ballot.(Yah!) I have been after her to be sure and vote. She is now pretty much home bound so I kept asking her to request a ballot be mailed to her. She has arthritis in both hands and knees and it is hard for her to get out without assistance. I am sure her signature looks nothing like it did when she register to vote in this precinct 30 years ago. Now I'm wondering if her vote will even count.
