1. You want to repeal the Community Reinvestment Act - so she is against making loans to minorities, which is what the Act was intended to do.

2. Michelle, do you realize that most of the failed loan crisis is not from first time home buyers, but with people who took out big mortgages, usually through refinancing - and those people are both first time buyers, minority buyers and freaking white long time home owners.

Apparently the disgusting meme being generated in freeper world is that this financial crisis was caused by banks lending to poor black and brown people. This is at least the third time I have seen this racist argument raised. That National Review halfwit who was on Bill Maher's show last night tried the same argument.

Bachmann also stated that Fannie and Freddie needs to be privatised. She has no idea that the problems started when Fannie and Freddie were privatised and regulations were relaxed. And truthfully, Fannie and Freddie are not the cause of the current problems. But this is part of the way they plan to weasel out of the responsibility for this mess. Blame poor people. It is disgusting.
