Cafferty's questions for the day
http://www.cnn.com/CNN/Programs/situation.room/
It will be interesting to hear what folks have to say on each of these.

4 p.m.: How much does it matter to you if a politician says he doesn't believe in God?

5 p.m.: Have checks and balances made a comeback in Washington?

7 p.m.: Should Al Gore run for president?

1. The 7:00 PM one should be
interesting. His last few emails have had more of a freeperville attitude in their response - I wonder what they would say?

4. Yep I had to answer all of them too
especially the first one as I am inclined to believe that the Christian Rights blind obedience is largely responsible for the mess we find ourselves in today

4 p.m.: How much does it matter to you if a politician says he doesn't believe in God?
Hi Jack! Considering what I've witnessed the last seven years from the true-believers, I would welcome any politician who kept their personal beliefs personal. At 50 years of age, this country and what passes for public discourse is reminiscent of an acid-trip.

5 p.m.: Have checks and balances made a comeback in Washington?
Checks yes..balances not so much. I now fear investigations, and 'commissions'..like the Warren Commission, Iran/Contra Investigation, and the 9/11 Commission. It seems the only purpose they serve is in providing a facade of giving a hoot, and to teach the crooks better ways of accomplishing their goals. It seems they've learned well.

7 p.m.: Should Al Gore run for president?
Should Al Gore run? No. He already won an election, and look where that got us. Why don't you guys just announce who will succeed Bush to the throne? I realize how that might leave a gaping hole in your 'news' coverage, but I'm sure there will be plenty of impoverished people that Glenn Beck types can excoriate to fill up the space.
