Went to an Obama house party tonight to watch the debate.
Anyone else go to one; and if so, how was it?

The one we went to was small, (about 10-12) but was attended by some nice and well informed people.

and getting away with lying. Also, one lady who was there lost her husband in the war a year ago, so that dominated the conversation after that. (As it should have.)

2. About 50 people - right in Boehner country!
Great food, lots of booze, and met some good people. I think they raised about 5-grand, too.

The local campaign coordinator spoke and said our red, red county is very nearly purple now, due to new voter registration!

6. My wife and I were at a Democratic hangout in Hartford with about 100 Obama supporters.
The mood was jubilant, to say the least. :D

8. 10 people. It was good. We discussed during and afterward.
It was a group of older women; married, divorced, single, who are very supportive of change and democratic values. It was fun, informative and energizing. :woohoo:
