No "big zingers" in the debate from Obama or McCain
nothing that stands out in my mind

in regards to "fashion" Obama had a flag pin, McCain didn't - why does mccain hate america?

and McCain had one of those ties that shouldn't be worn on TV, the stripes did the color shifting thingy... not as bad as the one bush wore once, but still annoying

3. yeah, but needed to be mentioned a couple more times
to really make the point.

mccain was throwing around "doesn't understand" alot, and that kind of repetition is needed to make it stick in the mind...

debate went as I pretty much expected - wish they brought up the economy at the end instead of the beginning..

oh well, VP debate should be interesting, and the next Presidential debate as well when it comes to domestic issues and the economy - unless mccain has some crisis he needs to attend to and wants to cancel/postpone

might be considered a low blow, but I was kind of hoping Obama would have opened with something along the lines of "Glad to see you could make it tonight, John"

4. Obama made fun of McCain for not being willing to say he'd meet with
the head of a Nato ally -- meaning Spain. That made me laugh.

7. McCain's whistling "s" was annoying.
and about 3/4 of the way through, it sounded like he was doing Johnny Carson doing a Ronald Reagan impression. I don't think that was by accident, either.
