HA! My son just came in and said I needed to be "grounded" and
not allowed to hang out with you guys anymore! He walked in the apartment (after doing my food shopping, bless his heart) and asked "how's McCain doing?" Of course he knows I'm on DU. I said "like a turd in its last spin before going down the toilet." Mother! JC, you gotta stop hanging out there, you're starting to talk like a radical. Of course, he's doubled over laughing. Just thought I'd share. He's not sticking around, for some reason or other, to watch the debates. Ground me? I think not!

1. I need to fix your son up with my daughter.
She likes to play devil's advocatejust to rile me up. During the 2000 election, she voted 'Green' in her class election just to piss me off. Years later, she's a vegan, and she was expounding Obama when I thought Hillary would be the candidate. I thought I had scarred her for life with my 'Bush' issue, but she's grown up to be quite an impressive liberal.

3. Now see, that's the kind of daughter-in-law I'm looking for..
Son is single, very good looking, smart (and I'm not a Jewish mother either) and a great job. Plays golf in all free moments and is a Dem. Hahaha, too bad you're so far away...booo...

2. I know what you mean... I have been like this for 8 years....
My brother really chewed me out about 6 months ago. Told me he would burn the computer and I would never Blog again.... especially if I read DU... LOL. Then, last night, he called me and asked me what I thought about the Bailout? ROFL. I just said that I had to "Zipper my lipper" and I "no longer commented on politics." He was squirming on the phone. He hasn't called back. I told him to watch the debate tonight and maybe we could discuss it.....
