9. I don't know about the progression of his disease but I am so hopeful

that he will live to see Obama inaugurated, and maybe even attend the inauguration.

I have little visualizations of that day, with Michelle and the girls and the family arriving at the White House after the inauguration ceremony. I will now include Senator Kennedy in my visualization, as a vote of hope for him...

I doubt that Obama would don a top hat (even JFK looks a bit silly in it) but he will certainly look wonderful. And Michelle will be every inch the equal of Jackie!

I just watched my mother die an awful death. AWFUL! It will be great if he lives, but like I told my mom (four days before she died on 6/26), dieing is OK too. We are ready. The political process is insignificant.
