If I went to some banks and said "Quick! Give me all your money now!" they would think I was rude
and I'd probably get free etiquette lessons for several years

But it's apparently OK for some banks to tell me "Quick! Give us all your money now!"

Just sayin

2. What used to be called "highway robbery"
is now referred to as "bipartisan legislation." You may also see the phrases "working in a bipartisan fashion" or "reaching across the aisle" to refer to this same phenomenon. At any rate, whenever you hear these phrases, prepare to bend over and grab your ankles. The outcome is never good.
