I cannot speak to the accuracy of these quotes but if they are anywhere near close to being actually quotes we should all be very frightened.

You can't speak to the accuracy of the quotes, and yet you don't hesitate to disseminate them.

Please substantiate them or don't circulate them. This is exactly the sort of thing that gives the Internets a bad reputation.

There are plenty of on-the-record quotes from Palin as well as damning video clips that should give us every reason to be very afraid of her. Don't muddy the waters with unsubstantiated stuff that more often than not turns out to be urban legends, frequently designed to undermine legitimate stuff.

(By the way, I checked Snopes and couldn't find anything either way.)

Now, I'm sorry that I've strayed from the topic, but you are making claims that Sarah Palin said some incredibly incendiary shit and pretending like because we can't prove she didn't we should assume she did, even though you found these alleged quotes in an anonymous post on an internet message board of a daytime talk show that doesn't really deal in politics. You then went on to say some shit about people doubting their credibility and questioning your motives being dictators.

You seem to be fairly new here, so I'm going to go out on a limb and try to speak for the majority of DU. Some may disagree and I encourage them to register their dissent. Nobody made me king shit of fuck mountain after all.

Unlike conservatives, we don't just automatically accept everything that appears to validate our worldview. We apply the same logic and critical thought to everything. Even if we want to believe something on a gut level, we still look for proof before we can believe it on an intellectual level.
