Is the Bailout the first topic in years to be truly nonpartisan?
If there was ever a time to strike up a conversation with those Republicans you usually keep your distance from, now is it.
I am amazed at how much we have to agree on these days. This can work to our advantage...also hearing rumblings about McCain being an irascible wimp and Palin sounding more inexperienced daily - from Republicans. Yee haw! :D
I have several right-wingers in my family circle and a few co-workers who hate Obama and never ever have voted for a dem. They are enraged at Bush over this Wall Street bailout! If this bailout package passes it will be drastically different than proposed by Paulson. For the first time in years both dems and repubs can agree on something.
