I have to give the Couric woman kudos
She was firm an serious in her interview with Puckhead.

And she didn't cut her any slack.

If anyone made Puckhead look like a fool .... it would be Puckhead.

13. That's kinda how I read it, too.
Disgust and shock at the woman's abject stupidity.

26. Me too. She tried really hard to get her to answer
and you could tell she was truly puzzled by the responses.

Well, after hearing for a decade that she's the "liberal media"...
maybe she figured she owed the filthy conservatives one.

4. Seriously. I was impressed. And I am not her biggest fan.
If a guy asked those same questions with the same tone, we would have heard about it. Couric was very effective.

20. Chuck Todd said "McCain has had a bead week" he also said the it's McCain's
fault that she sucks in interviews because they keep her from the media and he said some gopers have complained about him hiding her. He said more but i can't remember all of it.

9. I'm not a Couric fan either,
but I felt for her. It must have been very hard for her to get through that. She gave SP every chance in the world to redeem herself, but you can't make bricks without straw.

The sad thing is, the "Couric woman" (LOL) couldn't even whisper confidentially: "don't worry, we can edit that out."

11. Me impressed too!
And a bit shocked by it--Couric usually rubs my fur the wrong way.

And Palin? She reminds me of an IKEA desk: nice to look at, but try to get something out of it and it falls apart.

16. I'm not a Couric fan, but she did a good job.
She handled it professionally and didn't soften the question even though it was obvious the twit had no idea what she was talking about.

You know..a vast majority of women make it on their own, work their asses off to get where they are. Palin is an insult to every one of them.

She'd embarrass the hell out of Palin.

24. I have HATED Couric since she fawned all over Petraeus when she went to Iraq.
The Palin interview almost made me not hate her so much.

She still has a way to go, but this is a good start.

27. On the second 1/2 of the interview that played last night
Palin's eyes were watering badly, I fully expected her to just break down crying. I'm eating my past critizisms of Couric, that interview was impressive. Forget Palin, even I was squirming under that stare. I think it hit Sarah during that interview that she has wandered into the 'adults' room.
