So, my sister showed me this morning how she can watch her son at school
There's a webcam in the classroom and she can sign on whenever and watch him. He's three, but I still think this is kind of stupid. How are kids ever supposed to become adults if they live with the feel of their parents always watching over them. I predict NO ONE gets laid in high school within 20 years.

1. I think it's terrific
I think they should have them in nursing homes too. People need to be able to see that their loved ones are being cared for.

6. Fuck that.
What a hideous, dehumanizing concept for all involved. If this becomes a reality and I end up in an old people's home I will make goatse pics at you.

9. Your children can't check on you?
To make sure you're not laying in a puddle of piss?

People are seriously clueless around here sometimes.

10. It beats actually talking to your elderly relatives and asking them how they are being cared for.

3. Well since he's three
I doubt it's the webcam that's preventing him from becoming an adult.

As to not being laid in high school - I really don't think that's civilizations greatest problem somehow.

5. Look at the big picture
If, from a young age, children aren't used to the concept their parents aren't ALWAYS around, they won't develop the sense of indpendence they need.

7. 3 is one thing
3 is still pretty young. I can't even wrap my mind around a kid being in "school" at that age.

But once a child reaches 5 or 6.......then it has to stop.

8. Have you noticed that cameras aren't just apearing in classrooms?
Just look at how many cameras Great Britain has to watch over it's populace? We seem to be moving the same direction here in the states, as evidenced by all of the red-light and intersection cameras that I've seen go up in my own city.
