12. the saran wrap issue is correct
I found out about it before I was on the internet and pregnant 14 years ago. I think the issue with that was phalates not dioxin? Anyway if you look closely on the label Saran wrap has a teeny tiny warning on it to not let it come into contact with food while nuking.

5. Now we know why internet spam and scams work.
The statement, "This is how Sheryl Crow got breast cancer" is complete speculation anyways. There is no way that she "knows" how she got cancer.

10. I stopped using microwave years ago after reading articles telling

of the hazards of microwaves themselves.

microwaves change the context of whatever food you are microing. and after you eat that food it changes the context of your blood.

they, at that time, didn't know why or if the changes were harmful.

I decided not to risk the unknown. I had always not used microwaves but found one on my hands and decided to give it a try. heating water for tea use makes the tea taste 'thick' or 'muddy' ugh.

and that most microwaves leak, even through house walls, for at least 10 ft.

11. I've stopped heating in plastic.
It can't hurt. I also try to store everything in glass if it has any liquid in it. If it's dry, like crackers and chips plastic's okay with me. But I avoid all "cancer-plastics" as we call them in my family: the kind that is hard and clear. Flexible plastics are safer, like Rubbermaid containers.
