Bailout, bullshit!
Nationalize the bastards. We'll never have a better chance.

Barney was right. If they're too big to fail, they're too big to exist (as independent, capitalist corporations, free to enact their own will, heedless of the consequences for the rest of us).

I say we need to nationalize all the major monopolies and oligopolies. The giant energy companies, the power companies, major aspects of the communications networks, transportation, the health insurance system, etc. We oughtta hire Hugo Chavez as a consultant, dammit. Or, better, Salvador Allende--if we hadn't killed him.

1. If taxpayers "bail them out" then we should see something for
our efforts - let them pay us back - we should see the profits.

I've asked in another thread but received no answer, is there some type of trust fund that protects the "retirement" of ex-presidents and all the members of congress?

2. I agree, J.R.!!!
These bastards have proven they are incompetent and irresponsible and not to be trusted. They are liars and criminals. Avarice and greed should not be used to form public policy...

By the way, you don't mind if I call you "J.R.?"

4. I believe that is correct.
We are about to save them from the consequences of their own greed, so they can do it again.
