Poll question: Hey! anyone see that PBS poll on Palin?
Now that I have your attention, is it any surprise that even GOPers (especially those up for re-election in 42 days) are some of the biggest skeptics about this Mother of All Buttfucks?

Watching Lou Dobbs last night was actually entertaining. He fulminated like a mercury switch over the bailout, and claimed that federal authorities had to have been lying to us for it to get so bad, so fast.

I spoke to a staffer for Dick Durbin last night, calling and e-mailing in my displeasure over the unfettered powers being sought by that short term employee, Paulsonuvabitch. I mean, really, he has what, 3.5 months left? How can anyone spend 700 BILLION in 3.5 months, unless he makes some really great gifts to a future employer of his. She told me that the tallies from the masses were some of the highest ever, all against the bailout, all angry, and all begging him NOT to approve carte blanche for Paulsonuvabitch and Bush.

My fear is that even though more and more GOPers are pissed off and not willing to lay down for BUsh on this one, the Democrats STILL don't have enough of a spine to do what is right, and that we will cave in faster than the Bears D in the 4th quarter. Damn. When the GOP starts talking about helping families, this universe has completely changed.

So, the question is, will the dembocrats cave in spinelessly, or will they do the right thing?

3. Spineless?
Why should we expect anything different from this Democrat controlled congress. They promised so many things prior to the '06 elections, but when Pelosi and Reid took control, they went along like nothing changed.

4. I read that before the blowout of AIG shares,
and before the bailout, she had more than a $250,000 invested in the insurer.
Little wonder that she pushed for a bailout.
