I see from your paperwork here that your main source of income is an executive level position in the Federal government paying $400,000 dollars per year that you've held for the last eight years and that you expect to be retiring from this position after January 20th of next year at half pay and that this will be combined with a pension from a previous executive level job in Texas and the pension from your Air National Guard service.. oh my mistake..it's just the current job and the previous Texas position then?
Prior to that job in Texas your employment history seems a bit spotty. Can you please explain why you left Arbusto Oil? It seems you didn't seem to hold a regular job after leaving the Air National Guard until about age 40 - would you say that is accurate?
It says here that you attended Yale? Oh I see your father attended Yale before you? Now I understand.
What collateral do you have to put up for this loan, Mr. Bush?
I see a stake in the Texas Rangers? It's not quite clear how you obtained that. Please be sure to explain that in the form.
A ranch outside of Dallas? Well you know that real estate isn't what it used to be. It's kind of hard to move real estate right now in the midst of this mortgage foreclosure crisis - do you have any other more liquid forms of collateral?
I see 9 billion? In cash you say? In an offshore account? Earned it from some overseas investments in Iraq?
Well I'm afraid, even with the 9 billion dollars Mr. Bush, after reviewing your application further that the We the People on the board have decided that you just don't qualify for a prime rate loan for the $1,000,000,000,000.00 you requested but we might be able to arrange an adjustable rate sub-prime loan for you if you give us a few weeks to get back to you.
There will be a lot of fine print to read and some serious strings will be attached to the deal though so I suggest you discuss it with your attorney Harriet Miers before you sign...
