OK, what's the difference between a hike and just a walk?
McNuts claims he "hikes" across his property to give him time to think without interruptions. "And it's not an easy hike either!"

Somehow I can't see him "hiking"!

1. Difficulty level. If you're as old as McDirt, it's a hike.

something..

7. Hiking generally involves hilly terrain
And more effort. You bring water with you while hiking, but probably not while walking.

He's got enough property to hike across? Wow, he's just a
regular guy, not elitist at all. And exactly which one of his numerous properties has the best hiking terrain?

16. He told 60 Minutes that he does it in Az. What's really funny is
that I visited a friend of mine who lives not too far from where the McNuts hangout is. It's soo GD HOT out there, when she took us for a leisurly walk to see some of the indian stone carvings, I damn near collapsed! We managed to get back to her car, and when she looked in the rearview mirror, she yelled, "XXXXXX! You're scarlet RED!" Forget the BS everyone tells you about the low humidity. It was 4% that day! There's no way McNuts hikes, walks or crawls around his hideout except for the very few cooler months they have there.

18. How odd
That Post #5?

That's the same sound that accompanies a certain someone's wet dreams........................

(But, yeah, that was funny. You're so much funnier than I could ever be. I can't catch my breath, I'm laughing so hard at your Post #5. It's getting dark in here. The cat is, maybe, screaming. No, wait, I don't have a cat. That must be me. Screaming, I mean, not being a cat. Mommy, is that you? This is what they must mean by "die laughing." Did you know John McCain was a Prisoner of War? I think I just wet the sofa. But I don't have a sofa. Oh, Mommy. Sorry. Can anyone turn on the lights? Can you hear that beautiful music? I think it's Ferrante and Teicher. Or maybe it's Roger Miller. They sound so much alike when you're oxygen-deprived. I should have gotten a cat and taught it how to dial 911. This is my last thought: yes, you're so much funnier than I am. No, that must have been the dog.)

19. Only when the dream is about Valerie Perrine as Montana
Wildhack. You do understand that realizing I am funnier than you are is the path to eternal life, unfortunately the music is strictly Ferrante and Teicher's "Classical Disco." A couple of times a year, on barbeque day, you get Roger Miller, (no the other one, "trailers for sale or rent....).

20. What struck me as particularly singular during this part of the interview
was his reference to that hill as a 'mountain'.

Is this where the old adage 'making a mountain out of a molehill' comes from?

...being paranoid again. :7 That little ridge on his property looked like one near my house...with a little walkway along side it. MOUNTAIN??? Come ON! :)
