How come my thingy with my Mac & DU doesn't work?

My posts no longer deleate after 48 hours why? And how do I fix
this?

They keep piling up ...... now I know Sunday is more than 48 hours after
tuesday ..... :banghead:

10. I'm having the same problem on my Mac. On "My DU" I have posts listed for

11. Just to be clear: this is about the Recent Posts in 'My DU', and has nothing to do with Macs

Click on 'My DU', and then the 'View All' link in "10 most recent posts shown (48 hours max) (View All)". You'll see that rather than a 48 hour limit, it goes back to about 2pm EDT on Tuesday.

No, I don't know why it does this now (and neither do the other mods); I noticed it yesterday. The time of 2pm Tuesday seems to be fixed - ie it was the same yesterday, rather than being a moving 120 hour window, or whatever.

13. So what can be done?

This happened after we had a huge windstorm last sunday

first my ISP went out then the power went out .... it came back on
last tuesday ... and my internet(s) came back up too.

I have turned the Mac off and back on ... run a clean up program ....
and deleated chached files.

Maybe I've misread what you're talking about; but what I (and others) see is that "Recent Posts" shows all posts back to Tuesday, rather than just the last 48 hours. It's nothing to do with your computer. It's a change in what the DU server is doing - it's giving us more. It means you get more results on that page.

If it's a bandwidth problem for you - that the "Recent Posts" page is taking too long to load, because it's returning 5 days' results instead of 2, then I'll see if I can get an answer from admin about what has changed, either on purpose or inadvertently.

I have a Windows machine, and we've had no power outages, nothing out of the ordinary...
