Poll question: How do electric cars work?
Edited on Thu Sep-18-08 06:22 PM by ColbertWatcher
Choice 1: they only need electricity which uses the cleanest technologies and is provided by companies not related to the oil industry and who would never raise prices like the way Enron did in California back in 2000 (I believe they promised)!

Choice 2: they run using a combination of internal combustion engines and electricity which uses the cleanest technologies and is provided by companies not related to the oil industry and who would never raise prices like the way Enron did in California back in 2000 (I believe they promised)!

Choice 3: on unicorn kisses and rainbow farts

Choice 4: Shut up! Electricity is not dirty or vulnerable to market manipulation! Just wait until the demand for electric cars is so great that all our power plants are run on nuculer!

Choice 5: Yeah! And all those Volt cars will run on solar! Once we upgrade all the power plants to solar and GM installs solar panels on it so it can recharge itself. Which will be only a few years after the Volt is available. And probably 50 years after the Japanese do it.

Choice 6: less efficiently than bikes in well-planned cities

Choice 7: Other (please elaborate in reply)

2. They don't work at all if they're not being built and sold.
Americans think they can pacify entire Muslim nations for free and without a draft, but electric freakin' cars are too adventurous. :eyes:
