I have a GPRS wireless broadband service (not satellite) and wonder if I can use Vonage or one of the VoIP companies (suggestions welcome)

my broad band speeds are

Up=184 kb/s
Down=1318 kb/s

can I do it??

I'm so frustrated with my landline and the troubles I'm ready to tear my hair out.

But the upload speed is not good.. it'll slow you down if you use Vonage. At a minimum, you should try using 256k upload speed.

Don't you have Qwest in your area? have you had your line checked for DSL qualification?

8. we don't use the phone that much and no, I'm in NM now

with the rural Windstream and their DSL sux bigtime, it's overloaded and down half the time
