#5,000 Obama and McCain, it's all about the Economy.
For my 5,000 post I am going to just let it fly. I am tired of hearing about pigs and lipstick, the only thing these two should be talking about is the economy. Who is going to fix this mess? Most here at the Underground know who started the mess, but how are you going to fix our economic nightmare. How will you create jobs? Offshore drilling is not a job creator and is the wrong answer, as the Republicans were preaching last night here in Grand Rapids. It's not trickle down offshore drilling that is the answer, tell us how you are going to create the needed jobs.

1. Good pick for your 5000th post! I agree....I don't think there will be
"answers" until we learn how far the economy is likely to drop. Trickle down economics is b.s. Never did work.

2. The sad thing is that neither side will run with the topic.
If Obama kept after them about the economy is numbers would rise here in Michigan and elsewhere.

3. Hopefully, we'll see Sen. Obama hitting it more in the days to come.
I actually think he had done fairly well on the topic.

Of course, I heard mcsame in WI this morning promising the world to middle to lower income people. The way he made his tax credits sound I think some will interpret his offer as a check in the mail for six grand to each family of four. He is a sleeze ball.
