question(s) - Why do they say Obama is the most liberal of senators and call us the far left?
Obama is mostly in the middle - and we are not that far left - we just want what the constitution says and people to be treat justly and fairly and leaders who are leading for the greater good - the right just wants to hate america, hates themselves, and just trashes everyone - they are greedy and have caused most of the problems by not being willing to do what is for the greater good - they have mismanaged most things or as these wall street guys and corps, they have swindled everyone and walk away with millions and billions of dollars while investors and employees are hung out to dry - this is right wing crap - the talk show right wingers are making millions of dollars inciting people to be crazy toward others - they are racist, bigots, homophobic, gun enable wild and plain out of wack - yet they spew this crap about the far left and the far left attacking because we bring up truth to their crap

2. because they lie about everything, EVERYTHING.
As long as they are fighting to destroy the middle class, and shovel the money upwards, nothing, no lie is too great.

3. They got nothing.
THey don't know right from left and up from down. They know they've been f***ing up for 8 years and are too stupid to admit to mistakes and change the course.

They've got nothing but lies and will stop at nothing as they continue to run themselves and us with them down the course of ruin blaming us the whole GODDAMN time.

4. They are full of shit.
Obama is pretty much a centerist, and there is not much "extreme left" remaining in the US.

They just want to make people fearful and manipulate them to vete Republican.

They took a few pages from the Nazi's playbook.

7. They're not going to win if they admit the truth,
that Obama is incredibly centrist. I'd like him to be more left, but I'd be crazy to think he'd win if he was.

8. It's in the New Republic.
They rate candidates on how liberal they are. Now here's the interesting part, the most liberal candidate, senator, house member, you get the picture, is always the Dem running for President. Four years ago it was Kerry, eight years ago it was Gore and now, surprise! surprise!, it's Obama.

What I don't understand is why no one ever calls the pundits on TV when they spout this crap.

9. whenever someone is said to be the most or the least in any study
suspect the books have been cooked.

Not even that hard to do.
Set the voting record of whom you want to discredit as the baseline 100 percent response.
Any variation from the 100% score lowers the rating of everyone else.

You can do it on a compooper and make it look real offical like too.

11. To make us look as out-of-touch as they really are.
They've done a pretty good job in redefining the norm. Now America's way out of touch with the rest of the world.

12. I can vouch for that. I'm a socialist-leftist...
...to me, Obama is center-right at BEST and DU is centrist.

I look at things from a global perspective. What is called "centrist" in the US is right-wing in most countries.

13. when confronted with the most liberal senator bs i usually say
Do they really really really think that obama is more liberal than say ted kennedy or russ finegold from wisconsin (my home state)
usually they ponder and cave unless they are just stupid.

If they need a push, i ask them to remember back to the early primaries when one of obamas early problems was that he was considered way too moderate for a whole bunch of democrats. Including me.

15. They Say That About Everyone They Run Against.
It GOP boilerplate. They said it about Kerry. When Hillary was leading in the primary they said it about her. When Obama took off they said it out him.

16. constitution
I think that if we went back to the constitution and eliminated supreme court rulings which have allowed an expansion of certain powers due to it's interpretation which in many cases goes against the founders stated original intent we would have people screaming like mad and rioting in the streets.
