Those of you wondering about Swamp Rat's whereabouts

might be interested to know that I heard from him today.

He arrived back home Monday sick and exhausted after fleeing Gustav and Ike, and is still trying to recover from Katrina.

He thanked everyone for their concern and said that he hoped he would be able to start making pictures again soon.

When I first came to DU, he and I had a really odd misunderstanding. Another poster said our exchange was the strangest he had heard! Once we straightened it out (and I felt silly!), I've enjoyed his posts and pictures so much. He always seems to know just how we're all feeling about stuff.
