1. She's got hundreds; the other kids are watching the kids. She
said so herself in that stupid interview.

to straighten himself out.

5. Todd is just a pale imitator.
Only one man could ever truly hold the name of "The Dude," and he was played by Jeff Bridges.

10. The point is that it if you ask it for one...ask it for both...
Michelle has been doing campaigning away from Barack. That's why you're not seeing them together constantly.

12. I don't have to ask it of both, when only one is standing out... Michelle is not constantly
campaigning.

I would notice as well if both of the Obama parents seemed to never be with their children. But that is not the case so I don't need to ask of both

13. No--Michelle tapes an interview here and there, makes appearances here and there--
but not all day, every day. Todd is with McLoser and Palin (and Cindy) at EVERY EVENT. Can you imagine how weird it would look if Barack and Joe and Michelle and Jill were together on stage at EVERY APPEARANCE? And yet, the media never seems to remark on this weirdness--I do notice that Lady Lindsay Graham and Joe Lieberman were given some well-earned time off from their babysitting duties since the Palins took over the campaign.

14. I don't get the point of it...
both sets of parents are campaigning. Kids are being taken care of as they should be.

There is plenty of crap to nail Palin on and this is so not one of them, IMO.

18. First I didn't know I was only allowed to talk about things that can "nail" Palin...
Two, you don't know that the kids are being taken care of as they should be.
Three, this is GD, not GDP I can make observations about their bowel movements if I want to.
Next time you see a thread about cats or Palins outfit or anything just as trivial I hope you object to the fact that it doesn't "nail" Palin hard enough.

Geez
Heres a tool for you that removes sticks very well

21. I never said you weren't allowed...
You're making that assumption because you got caught on your hypocrisy.

Since you have deemed it's okay to question one and not give the other the same level of criticism on a subject that has nothing to do with the campaigns or issues at hand then I have the right to call you on what appears to me to be manufactured concern for the kids.

Oh, and no one knows if ANY of the kids are being taken care of as they should be. One can only assume. Wouldn't you agree? Your comments seem to imply otherwise.

And I'll object to any damn thing I want. I have no doubt you will as well. We're all allowed that here at DU.

I'm sorry to see you so defensive.

24. Good grief, I'm laughing right now because you are actually serious...
I have not been caught on my hypocrisy. LMAO

I made an observation, and if you must know (no one else flame me please) Michelle is not my favorite person. If I would have observed it of her I would have mentioned it as well. I have posted my observations of Michelle here before and they were not favorable. So don't give me all that "phony outrage" over my Todd Palin observations. Its silly

Honestly for someone who seems to care only about "the campaigns or issues at hand" I can't see why you are wasting your precious time on this topic... you would be much better served in GDP where you are supposed to talk only about "the campaigns or issues at hand". This board is for General Discussion...

If I were you I'd stop wasting my time on this when you could be posting about things that could really "nail" Palin. Like the VPILF t-shirt someone saw...LMAO

22. I don't get the feeling that school is high up on
the Palins' agenda. As somebody remarked on another blog, at 17 Chelsea Clinton was graduating from high school and entering Stanford. Bristol Palin is visiting the ob/gyn with her drop-out boyfriend.

19. She needs him, because women are to be silent in the public forum.
As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the fourm. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak.

26. What's the deal on the oldest boy?
I know he's in the military now, but did he get into trouble during high school? I've only seen snarky references to bad behavior here on DU, but haven't read anything that has details. So what's the deal with him? Druggie? Girlfriend abuser? Are we talking
Jeb Bush's kids' behavior? Do tell...I'm dying to hear about Ma Palin's family values...

I hope the voters send the two of them packing. Their priorities are all screwed up.

so he went back to work. That isn't so unusual. :D

After that it was Granny and nannies. Bristol supposedly moved in with an aunt for the last year.

30. He doesn't appear to be working when hes hanging on Sarah's skirt all day
You can't fault a family for having two working parents. It has to be done these days... but If both parents can't give 50/50 then one has to give more than the other. I don't care which parent it is that has to give more, mom or dad doesn't matter. But he seems to be making the choice to stand around, he is not working, rather than take care of his kids.
