Ben Stein was crying for more govt regulation. "Crack down on Wall Street!"

Ben is for McSame, but he thinks he needs a new crew of economic advisors.

So, ... a lack of regulation is the main source of the mega-meltdown, but Ben's going with McSame.

Unfuckingbelievable.

What an intellectual mismatch.

3. Yeah, right back to the tax levels of the 1990s. And we all know how hard it was on the millionairs.
Maybe we should start a charity for them.

5. Nope. Actually, Ben Stein is saying that he and his ilk should be taxed
"we can pay for all that, we're a wealthy nation. You just have to tax the wealthy". Or substance thereof; I heard him say it a couple of times.

10. then it's odd that he would support McCain who is adamant about
not increasing taxes on the rich, and quite the opposite, in fact.

8. No,
his trouble with Obama is that he perceives him to be an angry black man. If he is truly for a tax increase on the wealthy there is no reason for him to vote for McBraindead. I really don't understand why he gets any coverage or gigs at all (except on the 700 Club). The guy is an idiotic glans penis and when I hear him say, 'lighting struck a puddle of mud', I feel genuine rage. He is an authority on nothing.

4. Ben Stein predicted the housing bust would result in a loss of $38 billion.
I tried finding the link. But it's lost in the internet tubes.

6. That's devastating.
So McCain doesn't have any economic opinions that aren't spoon-fed to him by his advisors? If you don't like his opinion, just change his advisors? He's that much of an empty suit?

Wow, and that came from a supporter.

9. Bueler... Bueler...
Why does anybody take Ben Stein seriously?

His TV game was his biggest accomplished, from my point of view.

I was starting to like him until one day he said that hitting on his female students from his teaching days was like "shooting fish in a barrel".

Then I realized what a scumbag he is.

Him and Kimmel (the co-host) even went at it one day when Ben Stein said that Charlton Heston was a great guy. Kimmel gave him a hint ("From my cold dead hand!") but Stein did not take it.
