Ask anyone that, ANYONE...especially a Republican, their reaction is priceless.

No arguing, no senseless banter, just ask a simple question, expect an honest ( or any type ) of answer.

It's poetic.

1. Ya know. For the very first time in 8 years my Republican
friends (and there aren't many) are too embarrassed to send me emails or talk to me. What a great feeling. They know if they do they will be hit with the truth and they damn sure can't handle that.

2. Guy at work told me Bush was the only president he ever respected
because he was the only president who ever gave him a check back. I started in about it being a loan, about taxes having to be raised to cover Bush's deficit spending, on and on... SCHZOOOMMMMM.... You could see the contrails of my words drifting lazily above his ears.

4. Ask him how many fillups that bought
Or does he not connect the rise in gas prices with President Phony Handout?

8. No, he doesn't, naturally.
Gas prices are high because we haven't taken over the Middle East yet, and because we aren't drilling in Alaska and such.

He's not really even conservative, that's what's strange. He's one of these people who thinks he's being wise, and so he recites whatever bumper-stickers he has read, and believes he understands things. He hated Reagan, dislikes Clinton because of NAFTA, and thinks Bush handled Iraq badly, but darn it, Bush gave him results he could see, so he likes him. What fascinates me about this guy is that he seems like the average voter, made into a caricature.

I have been thinking about yard signs to that effect.

Hows your 401K?

Miss your Savings?

Hows that College Fund holding up?

Miss your Job?

Remember that house you used to Own?

How are your Constitutional Rights?

Wondering about your Privacy?

Miss that Son that Died in Iraq?

Remember when you could afford to go on Vacation?

Remember when laws were enforced?

Remember when you had Respect for the Office of the President?

What part of our everyday lives haven't these FUCKING BASTARDS Ruined?

6. None of this is happening
Bush's tax cuts for the rich have instituted perpetual prosperity. If you think it's tough, you're just a whiner.

7. They already have their talking point.......
It's Bill Clinton's fault. I've actually heard that a couple of times today.
