What is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. Let them perish.

4. No one cares when an individual loses their home.
They only care when bankers lose their business because half a million people have lost their homes. Thats the way of the world.

5. How can the bankers lose their business when they have so many homes?
Perhaps they should try selling the homes. People would probably be willing to pay money for them.

6. Excellent point. Had they bailed out homeowners, they
would not need to bail out the banks. The banks cooked their own geese, so to speak.

7. So many of us saw this coming.
I worked at a real property firm that worked exclusively for banks (both foreclosure and defense). I started pushing for loss mitigation and default resolution 10 years ago. I killed myself trying to convince them that they should be in the performing loan business and not the real estate sales business. What the fuck did I know. When they asked me to prove it could be done, I did. Over time, I saved a few hundred homes and helped the loans perform. Meh, screw that kid, he doesn't know anything. Too much work, might be a couple more salaries. Back to the status quo.

Idiots.
