Lower rt corner

The cruise took off the day before the storm...the cruise liner would not give a refund so people went ahead on the cruise. And left their cars behind. Not a pretty site that they are coming back to.
Report said that the ship docked somewhere in LA instead of going back to Galveston so the people most likely have no clue what their cars look like.
I'm thinking losing the $$ they paid for the cruise would have been a better way to go.

1. Good question! I never park my car in San Francisco, who knows when an
earthquake will come along?

3. Do you get advance notice of an earthquake the next day?

4. We did. Lots of people do.
But I would never take a cruise in the Gulf during hurricane season.

10. Taking and parking the car, no big deal
But on the DAY BEFORE a well announced hurricane has Galveston in it's path?
They better hope there is no stupidity clause in their insurance policies.

5. Dunno, depends on their deductibles
Yeah, I think it was dumb, too. I'd have organized an expensive cab or limo ride from the mainland, I think, much cheaper than the hassle of fighting with an insurance company and replacing the car.

8. Seems pretty stupid to me, to park where you know there is going
to be a massive STORM SURGE. They knew it was coming their way by friday.

9. No problem. I'd park on the 3rd floor of a 4-story parking structure.
