The seawall is apparently only 7 miles long...looks like a whole lot of places are/were built beyond the end of it

5. I've never seen a beachfront with no beach goers.
Sorry, off topic. Just a funky observation.

I saw a thread earlier with pics of Crystal Beach - not even hardly a blade of grass left, not even much debris - it's like the ocean swept the whole town out to sea. How far is that from Galveston?
