Did that freighter, with a dead engine, survive Ike?
Did not see any mention on it when Anderson Cooper was up to his crotch in the water..

5. It wasn't damaged really ...

Its fuel pump was out. Naturally the storm itself might have caused some damage that could result in leaking, but there's not been any report of that. The vessel itself seemed to hold up fine.

It's being (or was being ... I don't know if it made it to port yet) towed into Port Aurthur via tug boat.

The crew are alive and in good health. The Coast Guard was in touch with them throughout the entire ordeal.

MSNBC broke in with this Saturday afternoon. All safe, but that was all they had at that point.

getting the hell out of Dodge before FEMA tries to help them.
