I hope you can read (or reread) this letter from John Conyers to the Washington Post about an article in the Washington Post on June 17, 2005. Frequent guest on Countdown, Milbank, wrote the article - a disgrace against Democrats. Here is Conyers reply. Many things are mentioned. It may be the best response to an act of media assault on Democrats and the Democratic Party. Milbank's letter was sent during a prolonged and long running put down of Democrats by the Republican media consortium in a most arrogant way.

This is one of the hearings where the Republicans tried their dirty tricks to prevent it, then followed it up with more dirty tricks.

It is related to the Downing Street Minutes. All 9-11 related.

This newspaper, this writer, and this writer's stage, MSNBC, will always be despicable in my judgment.
