Did Margaret Thatcher cry "unfair" everytime she was criticized?

The Repubs were already talking about Palin being a potential Thatcher for the US as soon as she was picked as VP.

However, did Thatcher ever cry to the press or complain about how unfair she was being treated everytime someone denounced her policies? From what I recall of her the answer is "no".

She might have been a cold-hearted shrew but she was resolute in her conduct and was respected by other leaders. At this point Palin will be totally chewed up and spat out by any of our international adversaries.
