2. Think About It A Sec...
Two can play at this "feed the beast" game going on with the corporate media. For a long time, the GOOP has pushed their talking points and codewords this way. Yesterday's Piggie over-reach was an example on steroids. It also appears to have both backfired with the media and put Camp Gramps on the defensive. There's also a lot of personal vetting of Grandma Barracuda going on...people are starting to hear or read things about her and many aren't liking what they see. It becomes even more acute when someone mentions how this woman could be a 72-year old heartbeat away from the Oval office.

One of the Democrat's greatest weapons against Palinpalooza are both Bill and Hillary Clinton...and I sense that Joe's setting up the media to pay attention to things Hillary says...allow her to go after both Palin and Gramps while Barack & Joe go after voters on substance. The Clintons are gonna play a role in this campaign in its final weeks and Joe's just greasin' the skids for 'em.

Cheers...

5. I don't think it was all that complicated
Some loser thought it would be funny to trash Hillary. Joe defended her. I don't think there was anything wrong with what he said, and I don't think there's anything the Republicans can do with it except maybe send some trolls to message boards to try and stir up trouble. No Hillary supporter (like me) is going to take that remark as anything but a nice defense of Hillary.

9. I Agree...
I saw the context of the question...but many didn't. I saw Larry King try to milk this one last night.

The interesting dynamic is what I've seen/heard from women...and while the polls say Palinpalooza gave Gramps a "bump"...I see an opposite reaction happening. The more people are seeing and hearing this woman, the more polarizing she becomes...and the more that is revealed of her Peyton Place life, the more people are turned off...especially when you ask the question if this lady is ready to be a 72-year old heartbeat away from being POTUS?

Joe's great...he is a pleasure to watch on the stump...and think he's brought a great deal of positive things to this campaign.

Yep...I've seen the invasion of the trolls and "concerned"...it's always an indication of how bad things are going in their worthless lives. But it provides much needed entertainment for many of us.

Cheers...

10. Joe's Lowering His Own Bar As Well
...and not a bad thing at all. The one thing I really enjoy about Joe is how he can ramp it up and down...speak from the heart one moment and then shoot a zinger the next.

I don't think he needs to worry about Grandma, she'll be her own worst enemy in a debate. Joe's a pro...he'll school her gently. Grandma, from what we've seen, is an old sportscaster...she can read the scripts and do the talking points. She's also adept at the GOOP tactic of overtalking and dominating a debate. I'm certain Joe is aware of that...and he will let her hang herself...letting her inexperience and shrill personality contrast to his coolness and knowledge.

Cheers...

4. Republicans sure get a lot of help on these boards with the Clinton bashing that goes on.
Both Bill and Hillary are better politicians and people than all Republicans put together and yet leave it to DU to pick apart some of our best people.

7. Obama supporters should not be stupid
it was stupid of that guy to say what he did to Biden about how he was glad Hillary was not picked for VP because there is stuff about her.

this is why Biden said what he did.

the guy could have just said he was glad BIden was VP and rather than bring up Hillary compare him to Palin. bring up why he liked Biden such as experience.

8. It only seems that way now with Palin in the picture.
But if he'd chosen Hillary, McCain would have chosen someone else, someone much more qualified than Palin -- to better hit the experience thing.

Or he would have chosen Colin Powell -- if Colin could have been convinced to do it.

12. I think Biden thinks that modesty about his candidacy works.
I don't think so. Voters want reasons to believe in, and reasons to look up to, candidates, not "aw, shucks" types of populist rhetoric.

A minor gaffe, I think.
