A Call to Put Politics Aside for A Day
Edited on Thu Sep-11-08 01:56 AM by crimsonblue
I call on every DUer to put aside the scandals, the lipstick, the rumormongering, the partisan bickering, everything politics related.

September 11th needs to be a day of rememberence of the 2998 men, women, and children that died.

September 11th should be a day to honor the sacrifice of those that died in pursuit of a more perfect union.

Remember the bravery of the passengers on Flight 93.

Remember the families of the slain.

Forget Politics.

Just for One Day.

Tomorrow is not a day for theories. There are 364 days to do that.

Tomorrow is not a day to criticize our President. There are 364 days to do that.

Tomorrow is not about President Bush. It is not about you. It is not about me.

Tomorrow is about those 2998 people that lost their lives.

Honor their lives in remembrance. Honor the brave firefighters, police officers, and EMTs that rushed into burning buildings, simply because it was their job.

Honor the dead.

1. Honor them by demanding to know WHAT REALLY HAPPENED!
So that they did not die in vain.

2. We should also remember the four thousand seven hundred forty one
soldiers who have died in the invasions and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.
