..... Or is she just an opportunistic asshole like the rest of them, and doesn't give a sh*t?

Don't any of them have anything resembling a conscience, or humility? Are they really that soulless?

Or, like "made" men in the mob, are they too terrified to step out of line?

Look at what she does in her relatively small fishbowl of Alaskan politics with a taste of power.

Can you imagine if she had the Federal Government at her disposal?

It's a good title, right? SHe was selected by the rules, right? Hers if she can get it. Good enough for her.

Sarah Phallic. The Right is wagging her around to start a pissing match of outrage because they haven't the balls to do so on the issues.

10. it's all for the Greater Good
If they're elected then the war, "God's work" in her words, will be lost.
If they're elected we'll Drill Drill Drill our big naked state of Alaska, which we'll probably do anyway but it's definitely part of why she's on the ticket.
If she's elected more young women will be denied birth control and told to 'just wear iron panties' if they don't want to make babies for Jesus.

11. Psychopath; is the only thing that makes the least bit of sense.
Edited on Wed Sep-10-08 10:11 PM by Cerridwen
She uses her children as political canon fodder.

She pretends to be a perky, bit bull, with lipstick while taking out her political rivals using "ethics."

She uses her Self as a way to attract the "drooling" crowd.

She uses her religious affiliations to wrap herself in a mantle of "Godliness" and "righteousness".

She plays whatever angle works for her without concern for the consequences to others as long as it benefits her.

Psychopath. The only description that makes sense.

edit to clarify a statement about consequences.

12. No.
She really thinks that they chose her because she is the best person for the job. And she's an opportunistic asshole.

The woman is the most dangerous kind of idiot, arrogant and clueless.

15. She sees her chance to go in one fell swoop from Seward's Folly to
the Beltway. "Former Governor of Alaska" doesn't get you six-figure speaking engagement fees the way "Former Vice-President" does. It's all about the Benjamins, people...

16. It's like artificial insemination
You take a female animal in heat (Palin), show it to a bunch of horny males (redneck voters) and then replace the female with a fake (McSame) to get them to produce semen you collect (votes).

I just knew that Animal Husbandry class I took at the community college would pay off! LOL
