What's the best way to make sure my vote gets counted?
I am looking for the best way to make sure that my vote gets counted (in Florida). Should I vote early, vote at the poll on Election Day, or send in an absentee ballot.

I want to vote on Election Day, but I'd also like to volunteer as a poll watcher to check for iregularities at the polls.

8. You can check at your Sec of State's website. They list the equipment
by county most of the time.

I walk my absentee ballot into the polling place myself. We use OpScan here.

If your precinct votes on a touch screen, I'd sign up for an absentee ballot and walk it in. If your precinct votes on OpScan, you could just vote on election day and have as good a chance of being counted.

5. Unfortunately, the true answer is probably "vote republican."

If I had the option, I think I'd choose early voting, however. I have to vote absentee, and I've never really felt as if it was actually counted. Just a gut feeling.

7. I live in Florida and I like the absentee ballot...
it definitely makes voting easy and it does leave a paper trail.

But, unfortunately, the election can still be stolen. More people will use the computers than the absentee ballot system.

10. I live in Palm Beach County Florida
so I know what I am up against AGAIN!! I am requesting an absentee ballot for the paper trail and hoping for the best! They are missing thousands of votes from last weeks general election. I can only imagine what's going to happen in November!
