"REPUBLICANS LIE" insert evidence1, "REPUBLICANS LIE," insert evidence2...

Time is running short and the sad truth is that Republicans are great at running extremely efficient, memorable campaigns that elevate mental impressions of their opponents more by virtue of "stickiness or memorability" than fact.

A large part of this success is generated by picking subjects that provoke some outrage on the targeted group, thus keeping said issue in the MSM. That and constant mind numbing repetition by pliticians, pundits, bloggers etc...

For example, their latest "Country First" slant/theme at the Republican Convention is a subtle (not too subtle!) way of affirming an unchallenged assumption - the assumption that those not voting for McCain, are NOT putting "Country First." Thus an, offensive, outrageous, and memorable mental impression goes unchallenged and broadcast to 38 million plus television viewers. To dignify the slant guarantees more coverage on the issue, thus making the assumption more potent.

Thus, the way to tackle the problem is not to dignify the republicans' ridiculous broadcasted assumptions, but to RIP IT OUT OF PEOPLE'S MINDS by aggressively inserting another space taking mental impression in the American Public Discourse.

The one unifying Republican MO that comes to my mind is the simple fact that REPUBLICANS have been LYING to me for some time now.

Not only have REPUBLICANS LIED, but such action always seems to unchallenged by the media and Congress. REPUBLICANS LIES can easily be illustrated beginning with the Iraq War (Saddam & Al-Qaida, Saddam & WMD) and the present McCain/Palin statements.

Time Line of REPUBLICAN LIES: REPUBLICAN LIARS G.W. BUSH/CHENEY Weapons of Mass Destruction ------> REPUBLICAN LIARS McCAIN/PALIN (change candidates after were experience candidates, bridge to nowhere, EBay etc..). The interval is loaded with instances of REPUBLICAN LIES.

We connect EVERYTHING to REPUBLICANS LIES.

REPUBLICANS LIE...insert incident/evidence 1, repeat REPUBLICANS LIE...insert evidence 2, repeat REPUBLICANS LIE...insert evidence 3, repeat REPUBLICANS LIE...insert evidence 4, repeat REPUBLICANS LIE...insert evidence 5... REPUBLICANS LIE.

Evidence should include any lie, big or small. From REPUBLICANS LYING about weapons of Mass Destruction, to REPUBLICAN LIAR Palin saying she sold that jet on EBAY or fought against the "bridge to nowhere." No matter the REPUBLICAN LIE, any one of countless incidents will do, as long as the theme "REPUBLICANS LIE" gets gets communicated ad-nauseum. Nurturing the general mental impression (which also happens to be a factually accurate impression) that REPUBLICANS LIE takes precedent over the size or details of the REPUBLICAN LIE.

The usage of REPUBLICANS LIE by Democrats (especially if aggressively used by heavyweight politicians and pundits) will provoke outrage amongst the Republican party and provoke response, thus maintaining the issue of LYING REPUBLICANS in the media up until the election. KEEP IT SIMPLE and MEMORABLE (a little shocking for water cooler conversation!). In this case, we use the word "REPUBLICANS LIE" and not a watered down "mislead." Let them (LYING REPUBLICANS) take their own medicine in a full, undiluted dosage.

Also, it is also important to always add the sweeping clarification "REPUBLICAN" when using "LIE." Remember we are not talking about all liars, we are talking about REPUBLICAN LIARS.

In addition, we are not just talking about boldface lies, we are talking about, "mis-direction" and "false impressions," be aggressive/inclusive about what the phrase "REPUBLICAN LIES" embraces, including all the "misleads."

OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY

lie2
• noun 1 an intentionally false statement. 2 a situation involving deception or founded on a mistaken impression.
• verb (lies, lied, lying) 1 tell a lie or lies. 2 (of a thing) present a false impression.
— PHRASES give the lie to serve to show that (something assumed to be true) is not true.
— ORIGIN Old English.

Finally, use Face-Book, Email lists etc... to spread this truthful Meme. I am prepared to take some heat from conservative friends and family, but I know that one thing is sure, no one is comfortable with a properly branded REPUBLICAN LIAR, and even if some peole won't ever vote for OBAMA, many will not vote for a REPUBLICAN LIAR either, which is a plus for OBAMA.

* As far as Independents go, it seems to me that by their nature they are dis-trustful of the political process in general, and so they like to keep a distance to gain better perspective of the process. Branding the LYING REPUBLICAN party as (with evidence) as... well...REPUBLICAN LIARS, will strike a personal chord with them by confirming their distrust. We need to expose a face for that inherent distrust, and that face (accurately so) is the LYING REPUBLICAN PARTY!
