Morons.

Johnny's audience.

Morons.

Mouth breathing knuckle draggers.

But mostly ...... campaign operatives standing in the hot mic zone to sound like more than they are.

Ernst Janning: "Judge Haywood... the reason I asked you to come: Those people, those millions of people... I never knew it would come to that. You must believe it, You must believe it!"

Judge Dan Haywood: "Herr Janning, it "came to that" the first time you sentenced a man to death you knew to be innocent."

10. THat is their trained response when a protestor of some sort is in the crowd
As at their convention when the Iraq Vet for Peace was up in the rafters with the banner

They all seem to know this but I don't think it is instinctive it is trained.

I spoke with a family member last night who really does believe that- someone who I've had row or two with about just that sort of phrase over the years.

While it wasn't said, it was easy to tell she wasn't happy with having to root for Palin.

She'll vote the Republican party line alright, like many who identify with the sect do no matter what (it's part of their personality and has been reinforced over and over for, what 40 years?)

I think maybe in her case the deal has to do with the fact that Palin screwed up a fairly simple property acquisition- the kind that my family member has done as a matter of course for a very long time (without any hoopla).

My bet is that she would very much like to see Ms. Palin held to account.

16. I noticed since yesterday that the media is saying that the pug ticket is drawing
huge crowds due to palin's popularity, but they only show tight shots - even from helicopters. No wide sweeping vistas of crowds like Obama draws.
