Sarah kind of reminds me of that old Chatty Cathy Doll....
You know the one where you pulled the string on her back and she would say things.

Well the doll only had about 5-6 responses and so the kids lost interest in the damn thing pretty darn quick.

Basically, they got bored.

So "Sassy Sarah" appears at campaign events, they set her in motion and all she does is regurgitate the same few talking points over and over and over again.

It's almost as if she was was a Chatty Cathy.

There are always some kids that will love that toy, listen for hours to "Mommy, I think I wet my pants"...

Just, as I suppose, there are a good chunk of republicans who will stand in the audience and demand she "tell that one about that bridge, you know that bridge to nowhere. Go on Sarah, tell that one about the bridge."

Kinda like the guy in the bar who always yells out the request "Free Bird" to the band playing that night...

1. Aw, I never got a Chatty Cathy!
When I was nine, I wanted an electric train. I got a damn Betsy Wetsy. I filled it up and left it on my parents' bed. They got the message.

The following year, I wanted a chemistry set and I got it.

Chatty Cathy didn't come out until later, when I got a junior biologist set with a microscope and some pickled varmints to dissect.

I had no idea her conversational repertoire was so limited. The TV commercials on Saturday morning made her look like such a soulmate and fount of conversational wisdom.

But yes, I suppose they are trying to turn Palin into one of those, just like they managed to do with Stupid, just pull the string and she'll launch into a pre recorded message. The admen will make her look like she's handing down the wisdom of the ages, engraved on stone and tied up with a pink ribbon.

We just have to manage to give them our message. The Chatty Cathy meme will certainly help. Thanks for the suggestion!

2. Campaign video idea!!! Show one of those Palin dolls with a pull-string on the back,
and the doll only repeats the same 3 or 4 tired lines over and over again.

4. Very definitely a great video campaign idea.
She could even borrow some of Cindy's outfits, and alternate them with hunting camo. Complete with the puffy hair on the back of her head (WTF,does she have a flat head or something she is hiding with the puff?).
