That's YouTube for you though. I've seen some vile comments on even the most benign videos there. I tried to rate a bunch of the comments down but after about 20 or so I kept getting a message to try again in a few minutes.

I see lots of f bombs. Even on bowling videos. "F U I am sure I bowl better than that!" "Well F U yourself, that 7-10 pin conversion was easy!"

Unbelievable. People are more and more aggressive, less and less respectful.

Probably lots of young trolls too.

The more they use their insults, the better they make us look.

All we need to do is stay away from the insults and just bring it on, and by it I mean the truth.

12. The thing that surprised me

was how many positive votes some of the really nasty comments had. I've seen videos there with hundreds of thousands of views and thousands of comments that only had a few ratings. I guess it got freeped.

13. I ran into one the other day.

The name of some left-leaning writer, who had come out with something important, came up over there. There was one commenter who was posting, again and again, that all the left sucks, that it wasn't true and that he wrote this person's name on the blackboard at school and 164 people did not know who it was, so the writer was a nobody.

Well, I told this person that when I went to J School, I was sure glad I didn't have any profs or instructors like him, as they woiuld have sucked the air out of the lecture hall.

The young swain comes back, quite chastened, that he was only a high school student and he just wrote it on a blackboard in one of his english classes. He also said he was writing a paper on "Bias in The Media".

Well, after that, I just spent a lot of time poking with a stick, laughing, mocking and pointing at him. After all, sometimes you just gotta roll up that newspaper and whack them puppies. ;-)
