should know this, probably, but I have a dumb not-so-newbie type question. All day today, I've been reading threads that the main page says have XX number of replies, but when I click on them, I'm only seeing XX-YY number of replies. I know I have a couple of people on Ignore (not more than 4 or 5, who are probably TS'd anyway if I bothered to check!), but the ignored ones usually show up in the listing. Any ideas what could cause that?

1. If a subthread is deleted, it says X# posts, but you can only see what is left

That has happened several times, confused me at first also. If you had a reply in those deleted subthreads, the reply is gone also. Sometimes just 1 reply is deleted, sometimes the whole subthread.

That would certainly explain it - and I know that a subthread WAS deleted in at least one of the threads I was reading. In all this time, I've never noticed that little detail. Sheesh!:blush:
