Obama indecisive - Even with Home Field Advantage
Watching the Obama inteview with Olberman tonight, I cringed more than a few times over his stammering, indecisive responses to simple questions...

Is Palin Qualified - Um, uh, ah, why don't you ask McCain that questions.
Correct Answer: No. She's not qualified.

Have you been tough enough? - Well, um, look, uh, we believe that when the people are asked 'Do you want more of the same' blah, blah...
Correct Answer: Keith, now it's our turn and the truth is going to hurt.

WTF??? is with the affinity for these nuanced responses to definitive questions. It's September 8 and it's time to go to work!

3. I kinda said the same thing to my husband...I haven't heard
him like that before so I am going to chalk it up to exhaustion. He's still not running on lies and bullshit so I'm giving him a break on that one.

6. I'll take someone who thinks over an idiot who's favorite answer is "I don't know" anyday
Most of the people who watch Olberman are voting for Obama anyways ;)

7. On the right site?
Dude, stop drinking the kook aid at least long enough to admit it was a bad performance. My point is that if he seems indecisive with Keith it's not a good sign. How many days now since we owned the news cycle...?

9. not so fast.
Did you see the interview?

Something's up. Barack was WAY over-nuanced in that interview. It was weird.

13. Because it's the truth. That's how it's helpful.
Lying to ourselves or pretending everything is okay is not helpful. Obama was being very indirect with his answers. He could have said, 'They're lying.' rather than taking a few sentences to say the same thing. Maybe he was being careful because of Keith's reputation as being a <gasp> "liberal". I don't know. I was wondering myself why he wasn't being direct.

11. If you were paying attention, his answer to is Pali qualified was
actually a dig on her.

He said to ask Governor Palin, he was sure she would appear on his show. It was a slam at her refusal to do interviews.

Thanks for your concern, though.

12. I thought he appeared to be in a very upbeat mood.
He is not going to say Palin is not qualified. His smile answered the question and anyway he doesn't need to go there. Anyone with even a resemblance of a brain knows it. He needs to concentrate on the economy and connecting McCain/Palin to more of the same.

14. The Weakass is McCain. Couldn't pick the Veep he wanted,
whines about the media, Incompetent showcased by the house/lawn/greenscreen boo-boo at his convention, needs a women to attract crowds who don't even want to see him, steals Barack's theme because he lacks any original ideas.

The little McCain is going down.

OK, let me get this straight... you'd prefer our candidate to use non-verbal communication to score points with television viewers? Congratulations, you just secured the Communication Department Professor vote!
