1. Well, I read about a dozen of the comments,
and it just affirmed my previous belief that the women who watch Oprah are idiots.

2. I scanned some of the comments. Hard to believe.
Scary - so much 'she's the real deal' and 'she's just like me' so they're voting for her.

Maybe McCain had the female population - at least a good many of them - figured out just right.

Very depressing.

4. Those people who posted are anonymous.
They could very well be plants from the GOP.

It is an online message board, where the trolls live.

3. Oh my God that is pathetic...
I wasn't going to vote for McCain! But now I will! A woman! Yaaaaa! Let's get stickers and do each others hair! She's just like me, she has children! I don't know what her views on anything are, but look at her pretty family!

:puke:

6. I guess it is time that Ophra educate her fans about the Issues.
Isn't her responsibility to do so?

10. Your post made me realize why they are going after Oprah.
I was wondering why they would bother stirring up this shitstorm when Oprah had made it very clear that she was backing Obama and even if Palin did go on the show, there's no guarantee she would get the fluffy bunny treatment from Oprah.

Since the appeal to Hillary voters seems to have largely fizzled out, where's the next easy place to reach a lot of women? Oprah's audience. I'm sure most of the pro-Palin posters on the forum are shills, either paid or volunteer, and all they have to do is create a story--"Why won't Oprah have Sarah on her show?" It doesn't matter if Sarah never actually appears on the show. Story created, mission accomplished.

8. Typical of the lowest common denominator
I read statements within those posts that I knew weren't true. So you can tell there is a population of misinformed people.

9. Clearly, Oprah is a lot smarter than some of her fans.

12. I read through many of those responses yesterday.
If you look closely a bunch of people just kept spamming the board. Way too many of the comments were the same like "I'm so disappointed in you Oprah" or "I'll never watch your show again". Many had the same wording but with different user names. I am almost positive that they got spammed over and over by the same people using different user names.
