Since when is the big, bad government supposed to step in to save a dying company? What ever happened to that magical, wonderful, invisible hand of the free market that the Republicans love to spout off about nonstop?

I guess it's just fine and dandy for greedy Wall Street billionaires to receive a welfare check. The working homeless, not so much.

America is a corporate fascism. The guys at the top get the government to save them because the guys at the top are the government. Everybody else who lost their home thanks to predatory, fraudulent lending are left out in the cold. The economy is tanking but that doesn't matter to Dick Cheney, or George W. Bush, or John McCain.

They're rich, you see. They can ride it out.
