I haven't been online for a few days, so I may have missed it.

Thanks in advance.

1. Someone posted a (long) list yesterday;
I'm too busy/lazy to track it down so I hope somebody else will.:D

But some jaw-dropping highlights for me were Madeline L'Engle's classic "A Wrinkle in Time" and Solzhenitsyn's "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich". And Harry Potter, of course - can't have the young'uns learnin' witchcraft.:eyes:

4. I think that was a list of..
the most popular banned books, not the ones Palin wanted banned.

3. Ones with words in them
Words are suggestive, words make you think. Along that line, pictures can be suggestive too, better remove all the ones with pictures too. Pictures AND words. All the rest can stay.

5. It never got that far. Mayor Palin asked the librarian if she would be okay
with the mayor telling her to remove books from the library. The librarian said that yes, she would have a problem. The librarian was later fired for not being sufficiently loyal to the mayor.

7. I believe it was just a fond desire on her part
and never got to specifics.

Makes you wonder at the list in her mind, though.....

9. No credible list has surfaced yet.
Someone should track down that librarian and ask if Palin mentioned any titles.
