1. but you know,
he really doesn't think about him.

my opinion, he didn't want him. such a handy enemy. or perhaps he was never bush's enemy - look at how much he contributed to the rise of the so-called neoconservative agenda.

2. Stunning how he is never mentioned, it'd be different with a Democratic president
They'd have hung him from a tree as a traitor.

3. there would have been a "Days Bin Laden Still Free" counter on every newscast
Just like with the Iranian hostages.

No counter like that for Bush & Co.

10. True. We have to always have an enemey...
something to keep fear front and center. Because even though banks are failing, people can't keep their homes, the unemployment rate is up, healthcare costs have risen, food prices are out of control, jobs are disappearing....we all sleep better at night knowing we are safe from terrorists. :sarcasm:

11. i keep thinking about that!
HOW can they keep trotting out that same old fear card, when they've had fucking EIGHT years to improve the situation?! if they're telling the truth they failed, and if they're lying they're fucking liars! why would anybody want failures OR liars running their country?

6. Guess he didn't ask McSame, because McSame says he knows how
to catch Bin Laden. He must have been keeping it a secret from Georgie. That's why McSame puts country first. :eyes:

as he suggested in his convention speech.

And anyway, has there ever been any proof that bin Laden was responsible for the alleged attack
on 9/11? None that I'm aware of.

16. And that points you to the heart of their corruption.
Instead of prosecuting a crime, they militarized it to line their cronies' pockets.

And, they politicized the Department of Justice, which gave them immediate control of everything and everyone who tried to stand in the way of strip mining the country.

Mission Accomplished.
